A promotional title sequence for the 31st Busan International Film Festival. Inspired by Busan’s urban landscape and local culture, the sequence extends the cinematic experience beyond the theater and into the city.
Concept
Built around the idea “Beyond the Screen,” the sequence extends the cinematic experience from the theater into Busan, connecting the festival with the city’s everyday spaces and culture.
Visual System
Busan’s architecture, markets, and streets are reduced into geometric forms and connected through a consistent grid. Red and blue unify each location while allowing their individual characteristics to remain visible.
